I think you understand that God is working through your current situation to make you even more aware of your dustiness. It is truly grace and will make your hands and heart even more powerful instruments of God. Ever since then, anytime I get a "funny feeling" on my left side I take a few extra seconds to determine whether or not this is my own event.

Interesting what it takes for us to begin paying attention to ourselves.Reverend Ref +https://www.blogger.com/profile/12608521436386973234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20406961.post-87947032052120231112010-03-12T16:47:53.444-06:002010-03-12T16:47:53.444-06:00Guys, certainly I remember you. Several years ago, I had to change an IV on a pt. I had a good rapport w/both him and his wife. I have been an RN for a long time. I don't dilly w/tape - just hurts more; I tell pts. what will happen and rip! zip it off. He complained about the pain. I looked at him in the presence of his wife, the mother of his children, and said, "You have never had a baby. This was nothing :)." His wife roared and heartily agreed; he sheepishly agreed. Thanks for the post. I am including you in my prayers. Whether your "vah-puhrs" are heart or not, it is indeed a scary time, one where a person really needs to rest in God.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17445732008559186410noreply@blogger.com
