I think it's important for families to express their wishes about medical care/treatment, so everyone can be on the same page. <br /><br />I hate using the term "giving up" whether it's for a doctor or a patient. I have never heard it used for a doctor before. Truth is we typically just stop the intervention and let the medical process takes it natural course. <br /><br />Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Gupta's book.
